Okay. I get my order of operations mixed up over and over again..which is proably the reason I miss so many of my problems.

Problem one is:

14-16\8+9*5=

I did:

14-2+9*5

12+9

21*5=

105

Problem two is:

10-3(5-2)=

I did:

7*3=

21

Second problem looks good.

First one however, you made a mistake at 14-2+9*5

12+9

21*5=

You multiply first.

You would then get 14-2+9x5

12+45=57

The second problem is NOT good:

10-3(5-2)=

I did:

7*3=

21

10-3(5-2)= 10 - 3(3) = 10 - 9 = 1

Multiplication precedes subtraction.
