Rotate the point A(1,2) with respect to point B(3,4) for the angle 35 degrees, and find the coordinates for the rotated point.

What tools and/or methods have you been taught for doing this? Are you using matrices? Triangles and trig? Something else? In which direction does the rotation go? Clockwise, or anti-clockwise?
Thank you.
Eliz.

its matrices and counterclockwise.
In geometry the rotation about the point (h,k) through Θ is;
x’−h=(x−h)cos(Θ)−(y−k)sin(Θ)
y’−k=(x−h)sin(Θ)+(y−k)cos(Θ).
