In the blank provided, wirte in teh level of measurement that the following question will elicit from a data collection tool:
Projected Graduation Date:
A Fall year___
B Spring year___
C Summer year___
Level of measurement: Ratio
Is this correct?
 
Ratio measurement there is always an absolute zero that is meaningful. This means that you can construct a meaningful fraction with a ratio variable. Weight is a ratio variable. In applied social research most 'count' variable are ratio, for example, the number of clients in past six months. Because you can have zero clients and because it is meaninful to say the 'we had twice as many clients in the past six months as we did in the previous six months. this can also be said about the question I sent.
