Explain how to find a rational number between any two given rational numbers.

I thought that all real numbers were rational except for the irrational ones like pi and square root?

Yes; any real number that isn't irrational is rational.

Eliz.

Square Roots can be rational. \(\displaystyle \sqrt{4}\)?

a, b, c, and d are Integers, all Non Zero and a/b ≠ c/d

Here's a Rational Number: a/b
Here's another Rational Number: c/d
Here's a Rational Number between them: ½[(a/b) + (c/d)] = (ad +cb)/(2bd)
