ok can you have a remainder that has an x in it?

i need help doing these. i'm trying to do them using long division....

x^2-3x^4/x+2

3x^4-2x^3+5x^2+x+1/x^2+2x

....please help

and does x^5+3x^2+4/x^2+2x+1= x^3-2x^2+3x-1 R -x+5???

does x^5+3x^2+4/x^2+2x+1= x^3-2x^2+3x-1 R -x+5???

Yes. Good work. I'm assuming that if you can handle that one, you're up to completing the others.
