"moved" problems

Seems to be a problem when a post is "moved".
See post by art2ista, originally in "intermediate/advanced algebra",
then moved to "advanced math":
now appears in BOTH places;
if we "go get" thread from "advanced math", we end up at other section;
both places are updated if we make an answer post;
but posted date does not appear at both....

I have observed the odd behavior, but for the difficulty of the explanation declined the attempt. I appreciate your efforts. I didn't really understand your explanation, but I do know what you're talking about. It is odd, indeed.
