I am given two different equations and I have to graph both of them now I am quite unsure as to how to graph but I first worked out the problems like this:

f(x) = -3x+7 and this is how I worked it out. since they didn't give me a number for x I just used (2)

so my problem goes like this:

f(2)= -3(2)+7

f(2) = -6 + 7

f(2) = 1

so my points for this problem would be (2,1)

now my main question for this is would this be right just for me to put any number in for x so I can solve or should I have solved it another way?

Thanks.

you are in the right direction.

But you have to evaluate more points for plotting.
