Find the Domain for:

g(x) = (x-3)/(2x+1)

Possible Answers:

A.(3, −1/2)

B.(-∞, −1/2] U [3,∞)

C.(−1/2, 1/2)

D.(-∞, −1/2) U (−1/2,∞)

How do i find the domain? Can you please explain???

The domain is all the allowable numbers for x.

We are never allowed to divide by zero.

Any value of x that makes a denominator zero is not part of the domain.
