thanks! Great! I have a word problem next!
A manufacturer of computers determined that 900 computers per week could be sold at a price of $1200 each. At a price of $1000, it was estimated that 1200 computers would be sold. Determine a linear function to predict the number of computers that would be sold at a given price. Let "y" be the number of computers sold when the price of each computer is "x".

Please help me understand this problem!!

You've been given two points: (x, y) = (1200, 900) and (x, y) = (1000, 1200).

Find the slope between the two points. Then pick either one of the points and plug it, along with the slope you just found, into the point-slope formula.

Solve for "y=" to get the linear function.

If you get stuck, please reply showing how far you have gotten. Thank you! :D
