Graphing ?

I have a problem on my homework that is giving me trouble and I have no idea how to get it solved. I have read the book and tried doing examples. the one is that problem, its almost the same as my homework one. i figured i would be able to do it if i did something like it like the one listed below.

the problem

The graph of y = f(x) is shown. Sketch the graph of y = f ^(-1) (x) and estimate (f^(-1))'(3).

The graph of the inverse curve has symmetry across the line y = x.

Plot y = x as a dotted line on the same graph. Then reflect the given curve across the dotted line.

If you draw carefully, you will be able to estimate the point on the inverse graph where x = 3.
