Line l intersects plane C at point P and l is perpendicular to C. Thus, for any line n in C that passes through P, it must be true that ?[/img]
Take a sheet of paper (or cardboard). Poke a pencil (or a wire or a straw or something) through the sheet, making sure it's fairly perpendicular to the sheet. Draw a line on the sheet that crosses the pencil.

What can you say about the angle between the "lines"?

I'm not sure I understand. Any line in C could go through P, and make numerous different angles, so is it just that whichever two angles are now formed are complimentary?

Any angle? Really? You've constructed the illustration I explained, and you could form, say, a 45° angle between the pencil and the line on the sheet?
