The solid lies between planes perpendicular to the x-axis at x=0 and x=9. The cross sectionsperpendicular to the x-axis between these planes are squares whose bases run from the parabola y=-2sqrtx to the parabola y=2sqrtx

please help asap

Are we finding a volume?

Each Base is 2*(2*sqrt(x)) = 4*sqrt(x)
Each Square has Area [4*sqrt(x)]2 = 16*x
Add them all up by integrating this expression from x = 1 to x = 9

Of course, I'm not sure what the units are on this project.

If I'm reading correctly and assuming you want the volume...
The sides of the squares are
4sqrt(x)
And the volume is
dV=16x*dx
You want to integrate from 0 to 9
