...or draw the graph and think about what "slope" means. :wink:

what about finding the slope for Y=X?
 
The slope is m in y = mx + c
y = x is
y = 1x + 0
If you understood stapel you should have no problem with this one.
 
No, y=1x+0 . . . y=mx+c . y=y; m=1; x=x; 0=c..... now which is the slope? All you have to do to find the slope of an equation is look at the number in front of the x.
