Question: Find the slope of the line passing through the points (-5,5) and (-3,5)
The solution I come up with is slope = 0/2 Is this right?

I am also having a relapse but wouldnt 0/2 be the same as 2?

You're thinking of vertical lines (where we can't say y = ...). In which case we would have a zero 'run'.

Your line is y = 5. It is horizontal (has a slope of zero); a 'rise' of zero.

undefined horizontal line.
What? You REALLY have to listen to yourself. If it's a line, how can it be undefined?

Horizontal lines have zero slope.
Vertical lines have no slope.
