I am confused on this problem....... This is how my book states it.

Give the range for the function if the domain is {-2, -1, 0, 1, 2}.

y = 2x - 1

a. {-3, -1, 1, 3, 5}
b. {-2, -1, 0, 1, 2}
c. {-4, -3, -2, -1, 0}
d. {-5, -3, -1, 1, 3}

Plug in each possible input (from the domain) into the function to obtain the possible outputs (the range).

For instance, x=-1 is a possible input, and the corresponding output is 2(-1) - 1 = -3.

Hello, would b be the answer?
Since this would disagree with the one value already computed, it is unlikely that this would be a correct solution.

Please stop posting wrong answers to other students' questions. Thank you.
