Working on Math homework and I know this problem is wrong but can't figure out how to do it right. Can someone help.

-2-d/5<23

I tried this and got -115 but I know the correct answer is -125. Can someone show me the correct steps to do this>

\(\displaystyle \mbox{ -2 - \frac{d}{5} < 23}\)

Add 2 to both sides

\(\displaystyle \mbox{ -\frac{d}{5} < 25}\)

Remember that the direction of the inequality changes when multiplying/dividing both sides by a negative number.

You should end up with d < __ or d > __ as opposed to just a number.
