Need help on few probs:

Evaluate:

cd[d^2-c] if d= -1 and c= 2

Another one:

Expand by means of the distributive property:

a) 8a(3b-c)

b) 3x^2(2xy + 4y^3)

What are your thoughts?

You have c and d. Plug them in (substitute).

d^2 = (-1)^2 = 1

d^2 - c = 1 - 2 = -1

cd = c*d = (2)*(-1) = -2

cd[d^2-c] = (-2)*(-1) = 2

Just work the pieces and put them back together. Or, you can do it all at once if you are careful.

you do the next one.

If you don't "get" what TK showed you, then there's nothing
that can be done for you here; you need to LISTEN in class...

Please go have a very serious chat with your teacher.

He can't do that. His teacher doesn't talk to trolls. Santa told me so.
