I'm having trouble trying to figure out this problem solving question. It involves factoring quadratic equations.
Alejandro Ibanez wishes to buy a wallpaper border to go along the top of one wall in his living room. The length of the wall is 7 feet greater than its height.
a) Find the length and height of the wall if the area of the wall is 120 square feet.
b) What is the length of the border he will need?
c) If the border cost $4 per linear foot, how much will the border cost?
The other question I'm confused at what it is trying to ask me. This involves rational expressions.
Determine the domain of this expression.
