The derictions say find the indicated outputs for these functions
the problem is: p(x)=3x^2- x+5; find p(0),p(-2),p(3)
these were my awnsers: p(o)=3(0)^2-(0)+5
p(-2)=3(-2)^2-(-2)+5
p(3)=3(3)^2-(3)+5

i dont know how to right the awnser

Could you try to simplify each expression?

0^2 = 0 for example.
-(-2) = +2 for example.

THANX THKUNNY!
I KNOW IM SUPPOSED TO SIMPLIFY BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO RIGHT IT DOWN
Please do not use capitals; capitals mean you're yelling

p(3)=3(3)^2-(3)+5

3^2 = 9
3 * 9 = 27

-3 + 5 = 2

27 + 2 = 29

Follow that, Eva?

WE write it down as the problem then underneath we but the number used then a line then the answer you got ex.

3x+16= 38
(1) = 2
(.5) =
(
Where the question marks are in the bottom 2 would be a solid line down....it looks just like T-notes do in science or such....Hope this is what you needed?? If not sorry :)

thanx denis and miss piggy(i hope its ok if i call you that)
