# Thread: integral of sin(3x)^2 cos(4x)^2

1. ## integral of sin(3x)^2 cos(4x)^2

Hi everyone.

Im trying to find the integral of sin(3x)^2 cos(4x)^2, but I dont quite know where to start. I know I have to use some trig identities, but I dont know which ones to use.

Thanks for the help!

Matt

2. Try using the identities:

$\L\\sin^{2}(x)=\frac{1}{2}(1-cos(2x))$
$\L\\cos^{2}(x)=\frac{1}{2}(1+cos(2x))$
