figuring out a grade with percentages

Hi all, I can't believe I can't figure this out since I'm a student, but I can't. Please help:

15%of final grade = 93
20% of final grade = 100
30% = 88
15% = 83
20%=96

What is the final grade, and how do I figure it out? Thanks.

Please post the exact problem - as it was presented to you - verbatim. I cannot figure out why do you have "15%of final grade = 93" and "20% of final grade = 100" - those two lines do not make sense in the same problem.

I'm GUESSING that you mean this?

15% of your final grade is 15% of 93

20% of your final grade is 20% of 100

30% of your final grade is 30% of 88

15% of your final grade is 15% of 83

20% of your final grade is 20% of 96

So, your final grade is this:

0.15*93 + 0.20*100 + 0.30*88 + 0.15*83 + 0.20*96

I may well have interpreted your question incorrectly.

We can do MUCH better in answering your question when we know what the question actually is.
