(B) g(x) = 3x^(2/3) ? x

(a) Find the interval of increase and Find decrease.
(b) Find the local minimum value.
Find the interval where the function is concave up and concave down.

Somebody help me, please?

(a) Find the interval of increase and Find decrease. <<< What is the mathematical condition for function to increase or decrease?

(b) Find the local minimum value.<<< What is the mathematical condition for function to have a local minimum?

Find the interval where the function is concave up and concave down.<<< What is the mathematical condition for function to be concave up or down?

Start with plotting the functions - using a graphing calculator.

Then find the answers to the questions I posed from your textbook - look at the worked out example problems.

Please share your work with us, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we may know where to begin to help you.
