You could solve that equation....to get rid of the -0.25x from the left side, ADD 0.25x to both sides:

60000 - 0.25x + 0.25x = x + 0.25x

On the left side, -0.25x + 0.25x is 0, so you have just 60000 there. And remember that x is really 1x.....

60000 = 1 x + 0.25x

Can you finish it now?
