    Statistics: Sample

    Subject: Sample problem regarding mean, variance and standard deviation
    Find the mean, variance, and standard deviation in regards to the following; Sample batting averages for baseball players from a team which are listed below.

    0.295 0.310 0.325 0.272 0.256 0.297
    0.320 0.384 0.285 0.285 0.305 0.315 Please help!!!

    You MUST be able to find the mean of these values. Let's see it. Then we can talk about the variance.
