JessicaMX, after the second line: \(\displaystyle \pm\sqrt{16} = m - 4 \ \implies \ \pm4 = m - 4 \ \implies \ -4 = m - 4 \ \ or \ \ 4 = m - 4 \ \implies \ 0 = m \ \ or \ \ 8 = m.\) Both of these check in the original equation.
