Pre Calculus warm-ups

Hello!

I have a few PreCalc (I am in Calc this Summer) problem that for the life of me I can't seem to figure out. I have looked over my notes from last year and I am beat. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!


1. Suppose that triangle ABC has m ∠ C = 90^o, AC = 3 and AB = 9. Find sin(A) and sec(B)


2. The line perpendicular to the line which contains the points (5, 2) and (3, 3) has slope


3. Put the equation in standard from for an ellipse.
25x^2 +150x +9y^2 -8y =-9

Hint: sin(A) = \(\displaystyle \dfrac{BC}{AB} \) and

sec(B) = \(\displaystyle \dfrac{1}{cos(B)} \)
