I am getting for my uni entrance exam and I would be so thankful if someone could help me with these two inequalities.



for the first one I get x<-4 although the real answer is x<3
the answer for second one is: all x. but I need to know the way of solving it

Please show us your work - so that we can catch your mistake and rectify it

for the second one, by definition,

e^y > 0 for y = (-∞,+∞)
