Hello.

You have 4 lumber mills each producing 20 wood every 60 seconds as a lump sum.
You also have 3 larger lumber mills that produce 50 wood every 60 seconds as a lump sum.

You want to increase your wood production and have two options:

1) Pay 87 gold to upgrade all buildings so mills produce an extra 1 wood each, every 60 seconds and larger mills produce an extra 2 wood each, every 60 seconds. The upgrade will be instantaneous.

2) Pay 440 gold to build an additional mill that will produce 20 wood. It will take 60 seconds to build and will payout at the same time as the other buildings(so you will miss one 60 second payout for it)

Which option offers the most value?

To find out gold cost per wood increase you would divide the gold cost by the wood increase right? So:
1) 87 / ((1*4)+(2*3)) = 8.7 gold cost per wood increase.
2) 440/20 = 22 gold cost per wood increase.

But I don't understand how to account for the missed income cycle for option 2..

Any ideas?(let me know if there is any information missing)
Thanks for reading.
