I have two curves and have to find where they intersect and the area between the two curves. The chart given shows that they intersect between -2 and -1, and 1 and 2. To say I'm lost is an understatement!

When x = +/- pi/2, what are the values of f(x) and g(x)?

This is all I have to work with.

Okay. Now what have you done with the hint provided in the first reply?

Also, you're in calculus, so you know about setting up integrals to find the area between curves (it was at least one chapter in your textbook). What integral have you set up? How far have you gotten in the integration process?

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
