Log[3] = 0.4771213 Table
Log[30] = 1.4771213 Calculated
Log[5.84] = 0.7664128 Table

Log[30/5.84] = 1.4771213 - 0.7664128 = 0.7107085
ALog[0.7109631] = 5.14 Table

Therefore
5.14 = 30/5.84
Therefore
5.14 = 3/0.584
Therefore
0.000514 = 3/5840

//But characteristic must be decided from only 3
log(5850)=3.7672
log(3/5850)=log(3) - log(5850)
=0.4771 - 3.7672
=-3.2901
=(- 3 - 0.2901) // Mantissa part is negative. But Mantissa part must be positive.
=(- 3 - 1 + 1 - 0.2901)
=(-4+0.7099)
=-4.7099 // Here Mantissa part is positive.
Antilog(-4.7099)[FONT=&quot][/FONT] = 0.0005128
Therefore, 3/5850=0.0005128
