Adding and multiplying polynomials

I dont know how to do problems like these:

Add. Write the answer in descending order:
-2(x^2+3x-1)-(x^2-4x+2)+3(x^2-2x+4)

AND

Multiply. Write the answers in descending order.
(x-3)(x+2)

PLEASE HELP ME

Unfortunately, we cannot teach lessons within this forum environment. Fortunately, there are many good lessons available online:

Once you have studied some lessons (and perhaps worked face-to-face for a few hours with a local tutor), so you have gained a basic understanding of the terms and techniques, please attempt the exercises.

While we cannot teach courses here, we can help students work through specific exercises -- once they have a basic grasp of the concepts. If you get stuck working the above exercises, or are unsure of your steps or solutions, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning, and we'll be glad to check it out.
