My question is you have a fraction like this :
x2-x-30
-x2+3x+18
which factorizes to:
(x-6)(x+5)
(x-6)(x+3)
and both (x-6) cancels and the final answer is
x+5
x+3
but my question is why is the answer negative { (x+5)/(x+3) }

The denominator is:
\(-x^3+3x+18\\-(x^2-3x-18)\\-(x-6)(x+3)\)

You assert that the denominator factors as "(x- 6)(x+ 3)" which is obviously untrue because the leading coefficient in the denominator is \(\displaystyle -x^2\), not \(\displaystyle x^2\).

Yes thanks ???
