I want to analyze the conditions for the following fraction being negative:
Every term is a constant, except for 'b'.
So I did the following:
The development is not complete yet, but I reached this apparent inconsistency. I can't understand why it seems that I reached a condition that doesn't depend on gamma(b), and yet the fraction still is positive for some values of gamma(b). Can someone help me with this?
