To determine the number of plants that can fit on a rectangular plot of land with an area of 200000 m² when they are spaced 6 feet apart.

I think this is an optimization question but unsure what to do

Not sure this is an optimization problem. But the problem statement seems incomplete: are there any restrictions on the planting pattern? I.e., do the plants have to be in a rectangular grid or are you allowed to pack them tighter in a triangular grid?
