If I were to do this problem - with the end-point "finding inverse" - that would be my answer.the question is g(x) = 2x + 2 .
y=2x + 2
x= 2y +2
x - 2 = 2y
x-2 = f^-1(x)
2
would I simplify it to be x/2 - 1? or would it be left as is?
Thank youIf I were to do this problem - with the end-point "finding inverse" - that would be my answer.
I'll ask her which form she wants it in to make sure, thank youEither is correct. I prefer final answers in fraction form. You went one step further and could have made a mistake doing so (but you didn't).
Although no one on this forum minds answering your question it is best to ask your teacher as s/he will be grading your exam.
