Fermi approach is all about "estimates". So start estimating......How many litres of paint are needed to paint the inside of a house? Using Fermi problem approach.
The whole point of a Fermi problem is to do it yourself, using whatever knowledge you have. How big do you think a typical room is? How many rooms do you think a typical house has? And so on.How many litres of paint are needed to paint the inside of a house? Using Fermi problem approach.
Not really. The whole point is to come up with an order of magnitude.. It is a very rough estimate. It might be off by a factor of 10, maybe even 100. Do you think one litre is enough to paint a room? If not, how about 10 liters? 100? How many rooms in a house? 1? 25? 50? 125??Thanks. I know its hypothetical approach to solve Fermi problem.
Is there any specific approach I can use to validate my calculations
