For 2abCov(x,y) , 2acCov(x,z) and 2bcCov(y,z) , am I supposed to plug in the values of a,b,c in which a = 1, b = -1 and c = -2. I am confused about this covariance problem. Or do they use a different set of values of a, b and c?IMG_20211128_113151.jpg

a,b, &c refer to the coefficients of your random variables X, Y, & Z. So the solution is correct.
