If g(x)=x-2xsquared (couldn't find how to write the 2 above the x). What is g(3y)?

You write it as x^2

So g(x) = x-2x^2. That is g(x) = (x) - 2(x)^2. Just replace (x) with (3y). For the 1st step do nothing else to g(x) = (x) - 2(x)^2 but replace (x) with (3y). Then try to simplify what you have. Please post back with your work.
