This one is very confusing to me

Answer the following question:

For the exponential function e^x and logarithmic function log x, graphically show the effect if x is halved. Include a table of values for all four functions.

I am not sure about it either...but it looks like they want you to

Plot e^(x), e^(x/2), ln(x) and ln(x/2).

Also include table where you include values of several 'x' (e.g. 0.1, 0.2, 1, 2, etc...)
 
graphically, lnx is e^x transformed through the line y=x
if x is multiplied by 0.5, this means that all x coordinates of the lnx and e^x curves are multiplied by 2, i.e a shrinkage of factor 0.5 (or strectching of factor 2) parallel to the x axis
