Here is the problem
If h(x) is a horizontal translation 8 units
left of f(x) = -2x - 5, what is the rule for
h(x)?
F h(x) = -2x + 1
G h(x) = -2x - 13
H h(x) = -2x + 3
J h(x) = -2x + 8
My work:
h(x) = -2(x+8)-5
-2x-16-5
h(x)= -2x-21 <== This answer is not up there
Is It because the negative next to the 2 is a -1?
