limit problem

What is the value of f(2)?

f(2+t) = 4 * (2+t)^3 = .....expand......
I do not how you are expected to solve the problem when you do not how to calculate f(2).

f(t) = 4 * t^3
f(2) = 4 * 2^3 .............................. you can calculate that - I assume.

The way the site works is we do not solve problems for students. After all, that would not be helpful. We prefer that students solve their own problems with helpful hints from the helpers on this forum.

Here is a hint: That is not just some random limit. What does that limit represent? Does it look familiar to you? Might it be some kind of derivative?
