Hello I'm math newbie and can't solve this problem, please help and please tell me how. I'm not looking for exact numbers I only need the numbers to be as accurate as possible. Thank you.

5% of what? Clearly it isn't "of 32.64" as you might expect being that you have "100% - 32.64" because 50% of 32.64 is not 7.32. Please post the whole problem!

The more you tell us, the better we can help. What do you know? What is the context of the problem? (And who does "my" in the title refer to?)

You could use a spreadsheet to find a trend line; you'll find that this is very nearly linear, so you could find a reasonable formula just by picking two points and using the slope.

I assume, originally in the subject line, the word preceding the word "my" should have been "class" but it was posted without "cl". I edited that out and waited for turk to respond. However, now I inserted the "class" back in there.
