Hi. In part (a), the symbol h(1) represents the height of the ball one second after it was thrown. They want you to evaluate h(1).

Part (b) requires you to solve h(t)=0 for t. There are two solutions; they want the solution that represents the number of seconds the ball traveled before hitting the ground.
