Hello everyone,

A very basic question, but how would you rewrite the following equation for rate?
(1) Risk = 1- e^(-rate)
(2) rate = ....?

Thank you in advance! getting back into doing maths and do not remember how to approach this.

\(\displaystyle 1-\text{Risk} = e^{-\text{rate}}\)

Take the natural logs on both sides:
\(\displaystyle \text{rate} =-\ln(1-\text{Risk} )\)
