What is the volume of an oblique roller whose axial cross section is a rhombus with a side the size of a diameter and an acute angle of 60 degrees?

So at school, my teacher said H/2r = sqrt3/2... HowIMG_20220120_190949.jpg

Check your trig identities again. Also, what's d?
PS: roller is a funny translation. It's an oblique cylinder.

[math]\frac{H}{x}=\tan(60\degree) \,\, \text{not}\,\,\sin(60\degree[/math]

We don't need an x, look at this right triangle built from sides (2r, H, x) then:

[math]\sin(60^\degree)=\frac{H}{2r}[/math]
And it is right!
