Simplify each expression. Express the answer so that all exponents are positive. Whenever an exponent is 0 or negative, we assume that the base is not 0.

You meant "Please point it out", yes?

Here's a hint: When a power is multiplied by a coefficient, the exponent applies only to the base; it does not apply to the coefficient.

EG: Ax2 \(\;\) That expression does not mean A2∙x2

?
 
Check out lines 2 and 4. Are they equal? Can you spot what went wrong on line 3?
