I have no idea how to find the constants of an inequality equation when given the interval. Everything I have been solving is the other way around. Hoping someone can help me out.

I'd very much like to see what this means! An example will be very helpful.
It could just mean you're given interval notation like [imath](5, 9][/imath] and have to write the inequality [imath]5<x\le9[/imath]. But the constants are the one thing that is clearly given from the start, so that can't be what's meant.
