What are the roots of the function??

What are the roots of the function f(x) = (log(3^x) − 2 log(3)) · (x^2 − 1) with x ∈ R?
Use the property of log-functions.

\(\displaystyle \log_a(b^n) \ = \ n * log_a(b)\)

I am not understanding what this question wants? Actually, I am not used to Math in english. I know the contexts of maths in my native language. As, my cousin told me to solve this.
I would suggest (strongly suggest) that your cousin should try to answer our questions .
