I feel really stupid but I can't figure out what an adjacent supplementary angle is. Can anyone provide a definition?

An adjacent supplementary angle is an angle which lies next to another angle and adds up to 180 degrees w/another angle. Is that correct guys? I am pretty sure that is right.

The difficulty in trying to help with this is that definitions vary from text to text.
However, in general we assume that space is a plane.

A ray is a half line with its end point.
An angle is the union of two rays with a common endpoint.
Adjacent angles are two pairs of angles with a ray in common.
Adjacent supplementary angles are adjacent angles in which the union of two of the rays is a line.
