Thanks a lot everybody, I thought you could use the primitive y=C1e^x+C2e^2x+x for x=1 y=0 would be: -1=C1e^1+C2e^2 as one equate and...

Laws of Exponents Problem: x = 5^5^5, y = 5^5^4, E = (2x^2 + 10y^{10})/(xy^5)

Not quite; \left(5^{5^4}\right)^5=\left(5^{(5^4)}\right)^5=5^{5(5^4)}=5^{5^5}. @froufroufox, can you take it from there?

Laws of Exponents Problem: x = 5^5^5, y = 5^5^4, E = (2x^2 + 10y^{10})/(xy^5)

The equation you've written is E=\frac{2x^2+10y^{10}}{xy^5}=\frac{2x}{y^5}+\frac{10y^5}{x} By substitution of x=5^{5^5} and y=5^{5^4}...

Sorry, but I think you need to state the problem more clearly for someone to be able to help you. What does E stand for in the equation...

Two things can always be done with y=ax^2+bx+c . One is the completion of the square: \begin{array}{lll}...

It is common to refer to the graph of a quadratic function in the case of a>0 as an up parabola, and in the case of a<0 as a down...
